Our Story

The South Summit Chamber Commerce was founded on February 16th, 1926 in order to support economic development in the South Summit County area. We have grown in membership to include large, mid-size and small business.  Businesses find value in our membership through networking, promotion, education and community service.

Crissy Bessemer Kolarik

Executive Director

Crissy Bessemer Kolarik is an entrepreneur and owner of several businesses. Currently, she owns Turning Corners Counseling, which provides continuing education for social services workers and WildCard Productions, which is a talent casting business and film/commercial production company. She worked in the social service field for over 14 years, has served on the Board of several non-profits,  and is active in the local community. She has a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Art Therapy and Master’s Degree in Counseling. She was a member of the South Summit Chamber of Commerce for 4 years and is enthusiastic about building the Chamber network and strengthening the business community. She lives in Copley with her husband Todd and their 3 children, Cooper, Kaeden and Delaney.
